MAES organises an annual lecture programme for members and non-members alike. Usually held on the second Monday of each month, most lectures are given by well-known Egyptologists from the UK and occasionally from overseas.
In addition to the visiting speakers, we also encourage our members to talk to the Society about their own research or interests in ancient Egypt. Many of our members have gone on to become established lecturers in their own right and regularly give talks to other Egyptology societies in the UK and abroad.
Here’s our programme for the 2019-2020 season which includes our annual study in March!
